OBJECTIVE

In the last decade, Indian Construction Industry has seen an unprecedented growth with hundreds of projects being planned/executed in sectors like Urban infrastructure, Railways, Telecom, Oil and Gas, Airports, Energy and Power, Highways and Bridges and Ports etc. Development of Infrastructure is in a way directly related to growth of various sectors be it manufacturing, services or agriculture, and hence to the growth of our country. It is, therefore, important that the Construction projects going on in our country be of World Class Quality.

This course has been formulated with the objective of familiarizing the participants with the Concept of Quality Control- what it is ? How to achieve the desired QC? The steps/measures that will ensure QC etc. The course is targeted for industry practitioners and it is hoped that a better understanding of the underlying principles, gained by the participants will ultimately lead to Controls and Processes which will result in Improved Construction Quality, Productivity and Economy.
