Prospects for rain for 2 days in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry
The director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, Puviyarasan has informed that there are prospects for rain in the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry because of the thermal convective rain phenomenon.

Rain in Chennai Today
Due to the low winds, rainfall was reported in Chennai and suburbs. Heavy rains were reported in Pallikarai, Medavakkam, Velachery, Pallavaram, Nanganallur, Arumbakkam, Choolamedu and Koyambedu.
