Monsoonish drizzles to continue in KTCC from the stratiform clouds. Very good spell of rains in and around South Chennai region. The coastal places got severe intense rains.

There would be rains in Chennai city for next 3 days
The meteorological department has come up with this latest news. It is pointed out by this department that Chennai city would have rains for the next 2 to 3 days. It would be cloudy on Monday and there would be mild rains or drizzles.

Prospects of heavy rains in 5 districts in Tamil Nadu
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has warned that there are prospects of very heavy rains in the districts lying adjacent to the Western Ghat Mountain Range for 2 days on Friday, 19th July, and Saturday, 20th July.

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Balachandran informed that there are prospects of heavy rains in 8 districts of Tamil Nadu including Vellore and Kanchipuram.
