Yesterday the rains were so scattered and isolated. Today its my favorite type of Sea Breeze movement and with clouds waiting the conditions are so ripe for Thunderstorms in the city. Sea breeze gives moisture as feed to these clouds..

Chennai likely to soak in rain for few more days
The city witnessed some mild drizzles and sweeping winds last week attributed to the effects of western winds getting stronger. Light showers in Chennai gave a big relief cooling out the entire heated system of the city.

Met dept: Fishermen in the southern coast must not venture into the sea
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre have informed that the waves in the southern coastal areas will swell up to a height of 4.6 metres in the next 24 hours. So, they have warned that the fishermen in these areas.
