Rains likely over Coimbatore, Kochi, Kannur, Coonoor, Kozhikode
The states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala witness good rainfall activity during the Pre-Monsoon season. These rains occur due to the trough which extends across the interior Peninsular India region along with presence.

Pre Monsoon showers likely over Mysuru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Vishakhapatnam
The southern peninsula has been observing scattered pre-Monsoon rainfall activities for the past few days. It is expected that these activities would expand over South India during the next 24 hours.

Prospects of rain with thunder in Southern Tamil Nadu
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the formation of a convection phenomenon, there are good prospects of rain with thunder in South Tamil Nadu and some interior regions of the North Tamil Nadu.
