Good rains reported in Kanyakumari, Nilgiris & Coimbatore
Good rains have been reported in Kanyakumari after a long long break. Coimbatore Ghats and Nilgiris too have got rains. Sholayar dam has reported 30 mm and down below Periyar in Theni district has reported 21 mm.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that a low-pressure zone has formed over the South Coast and is centered there. Because of this, the rain will continue in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
