Heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours
Director of Regional Meteorological Centre S R Ramanan said that the trough of low pressure has moved westwards near Kanyakumari and coastal districts will receive heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours.

Schools and Colleges declared holiday tomorrow due to rain 23rd Nov 2015
Following heavy rain in Kancheepuram, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Nagai and Tiruvarur districts collectors have declared holiday for schools and colleges on 23rd November.

Existing low depression: Rains likely in Tamil Nadu
The Director of Chennai Meteorological Centre, Mr. Ramanan, informed that there would be wide-spread rains throughout Tamil Nadu due to the low pressure depression zone formed near Lakhdives.
