Orange alert issued & red alert removed by the meteorological dept for Chennai!!
On Thursday evening, the Regional Meteorological Centre or RMC withdrew the red alert it gave previously for the districts of Chennai and Tiruvallur etc.

Depression has now crossed the border between Chennai and Puducherry!!
According to Mr. S. Balachandran, head of southern meteorological research centre, Chennai the depression in the Bay of Bengal has completely crossed the border between Chennai and Puducherry.

Low intensifies and did not make my much movement towards Chennai-Nellore belt and the big ball remains south east of Chennai with the low located far east of Cuddalore. Slowly the big cloud mass is shifting up towards NTN / KTC belt.
