Verification of Aadhar card details

B. Chandramohan, Secretary of Revenue Department in an order has mentioned that the verification of details recorded in the National Population Register (NPR) for Aadhar Card which was supposed to be completed by 15th of this month has been extended upto the last week of August.
Aadhar number is generated based on the National Population Register. Now the Aadhar card is being issued with the details and photograph in paper format. In order to issue this in card format, the details in the paper Aadhar card are being verified in each house.
This has been notified in the Tamil Nadu gazette.
