The state government of Tamil Nadu has appointed new deans for 5 government medical colleges including Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital and medical college.

JEE Advanced cut-off likely to be raised
It is likely that the Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced) will go up as the JEE Main exam was easier this year, as compared to the previous year. In 104 centres, there were more than 10 lakh students who took up the exam across India on Sunday.

Deadline extended till 7th April to apply for writing Departmental Examinations
The departmental examinations are conducted twice a year (May and December) by the state government for the promotion of the state government employees and officers working in various departments.

Deadline for application to join medical courses extended by 2 days
An extension of 2 more days has been given for application to attend counselling and join medical courses (MBBS and BDS).

Anna University engineering applications from 2 week of May
It is widely expected that the application forms to be filled online for the admission in engineering course may begin during the 2nd week of May.
