Unemployed youth may apply for financial assistance

A brief on the press release by the Chennai District Collector P. Maheshawari.
Tamil Nadu State government has been providing financial assistance to youth who have registered in Employment Exchange and still without any jobs for many years.
For the candidates who continue renewing their Employment Exchange Registration, Monthly Financial Assistance is being given.
For the candidates who have completed 10th Standard, monthly financial assistance is Rs. 150/-. For the candidates who have passed +2, the monthly assistance is Rs. 200/-. For candidates who are graduates, the monthly assistance is Rs. 300/-.
For eligibility for this monthly financial assistance, candidates should have registered at least 5 years before. The candidates belonging to Adi Dravida or Ancient Tribes must be under 45 years of age. Candidates who belong to BC and other groups should be under 40 years of age. The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 50000/-.
Candidates who are eligible as per above conditions can obtain the application forms from the Chennai District Employment Exchange in Santhome, Chennai, fill up the same, submit. Once it is approved, they can avail the benefit of monthly financial assistance.
