Students belonging to University of Madras want revaluation of their answer papers now

Established in the year 1857, University of Madras is famous for being one of the oldest universities in our country. Every year many students come out of this university is well known. Vice-chancellor of this popular university is Mr. P. Duraisamy.
Recently results were announced and it was shocking that many students failed in the examinations. It is now revealed that there were some irregularities and discrimination in evaluating the answer papers of the students and in awarding marks.
Department of Journalism and communication of this university is making hot news now. Three students from this department protested in front of the office of the vice-chancellor so that their answer scripts would be revaluated again. These 3 students also demanded action to be taken against department professor Mr. Raveendran as he threatened the students.
According to the students it is now revealed that many students got marks between 45 and 48 and failed and only after awarding of the marks the papers were evaluated. The answer sheets of the students were also not shown to them by the professor. Students also spoke about how they were penalised for not being a part of ‘Muttram’ which is a performing arts club.
The students now want their answer sheets to be evaluated by independent examiners.
