Kamal Haasan to Take Break from Hosting Bigg Boss Tamil

In a recent announcement, renowned actor Kamal Haasan revealed that he will be stepping down as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil for the upcoming eighth season. The actor, who has been the face of the popular reality TV show since its inception seven years ago, shared the news with his fans on social media platform X.
"With a heavy heart I wish to inform you that I will be taking a small break from our journey that began 7 years ago. Due to prior cinematic commitments, I am unable to host the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil," Kamal Haasan wrote in his official statement.
The announcement has left fans speculating about his replacement. Previously, Silambarasan TR stepped in to host Bigg Boss Ultimate during Kamal Haasan`s absence.
Kamal Haasan`s busy schedule includes working on Mani Ratnam`s "Thug Life" and preparing for Shankar`s "Indian 3". Additionally, his film "Manorathangal" is set for release on August 15.
