Gold Rate Decline in Chennai Prompts Rush to Jewelry Shops for Wedding Purchases!

The price of gold has been decreasing steadily since the budget announcement in Parliament. After a period of high prices, gold rates have started to decline again, much to the delight of jewelry enthusiasts.
 
Yesterday, a 22-carat gold bar was sold at Rs 51,200. Today, the price of 22-carat gold fell by Rs 70, bringing the rate to Rs 6,400 per gram and Rs 560 to Rs 50,640 per sovereign. Similarly, silver is currently selling at Rs 87 per gram and Rs 87,000 per kilogram. 
 
This significant price reduction has brought immense joy to jewelry lovers, leading to a surge in purchases. It is also predicted that the price of gold will continue to decline in the coming days. As a result, many people have rushed to jewelry shops to buy gold for weddings and upcoming festivals.
