Southern Railway Announces Special EMU Trains for IPL Match on April 25
Southern Railway has announced three special EMU train services to accommodate cricket fans attending the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk.
These special trains have been scheduled to ensure smooth and safe travel for passengers after the match concludes.
Special EMU Train Schedule:
1. Chennai Beach to Velachery (EMU Special)
Departure: 10:00 PM
Arrival: 10:45 PM
2. Velachery to Chennai Beach (EMU Special)
Departure: 10:55 PM
Arrival: 11:45 PM
3. Chepauk to Velachery (EMU Special)
Departure: 11:30 PM
Arrival: 12:05 AM
The Southern Railway initiative is aimed at easing post-match traffic and ensuring convenient transportation for fans returning home from the stadium.
