Vaccination Centres in Chennai Metro City WILL FUNCTION TODAY!

A FURTHER CONSIGNMENT OF 6 Lakhs Covishield Corona vaccines have reached Chennai Metro City yesterday night (Thursday, 1st July).
A complaint has arisen that the central government is NOT distributing the vaccines allotted for the State of Tamil Nadu.
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has already registered the complaint that the allotment for Tamil Nadu in this regard is not equal as compared to the allotments made for the other states!
Because of this, THOUGH THE TAMIL NADU CITIZENS ARE EAGER TO GET THE CORONA VACCINE ADMINISTERED, THEY ARE LEFT DISAPPOINTED DUE TO THE SHORTAGE OF CORONA VACCINES!
Especially, the Central Government had promised to deliver 71 Lakhs vaccines in July but since there were no arrivals of vaccines, the vaccination schedule could not be carried out last 2 days!
In this situation, a consignment of 6 Lakhs Covishield vaccines reached Chennai Metro City from Pune yesterday night (Thursday, 1st July). Immediately, these were allotted district-wise and despatched.
As such, IT IS INFORMED THAT THE VACCINATION CENTRES WILL FUNCTION TODAY (FRIDAY, 2ND JULY)!
Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) had earlier announced that the facility to register for vaccination in advance had been stopped temporarily. However, after the arrival of vaccines yesterday, GCC has informed that THE CITIZENS CAN VISIT THE VACCINATION CENTRES DIRECTLY AND GET ADMINISTERED WITH THE CORONA VACCINES!
