The first Coronavirus infection wave in 2020 and the second wave in 2021 have been deadly and they have resulted in many deaths. Some time back, it was revealed that a third wave would attack the people.
The news that has emerged is that if the present Coronavirus infection gets mutated in September into more lethal form then the third Coronavirus infection wave would intensify between the months of October and November. This was mentioned by the researchers belonging to IIT Kanpur.
The researchers have revealed that the upcoming third wave would not be as deadly as the second infection wave. This was predicted based on the statistical data that came out during the Coronavirus infection. It was later brought out by Mr. Mahendra Agarwal of the research group of IIT Kanpur that if the virus doesnt get mutated into extreme form then there might not be possibilities of Covid-19 infection pandemic worsening.
It must be taken into account that when the second Coronavirus infection wave was at its peak around 4lakhs persons got affected per day and this created huge fear among the people. It is now said that in the upcoming third infection wave could infect around one lakh persons in a day at its peak.
