Chennai Corporation asks the residents to disinfect their homes daily

Corona virus has been making lots of noises all over the globe in the recent times and more number of people are getting affected by this infection every day. The Corona virus affected persons in India has gone over 1000 now is known to us.
The corporation of Chennai wants to make sure that Chennai resident’s doesn’t spread this infection. The recent news is Corporation of Chennai has asked the residents to disinfect their homes every day for containing the spread of this Corona virus infection.
On Monday, 30th March 2020, the Chennai corporation commissioner, Mr. G. Prakash revealed the need to disinfect the homes. By this, it would be possible to arrest the further spreading of Corona virus in Chennai.
He threw light on how GCC machinery has been doing its work in full flow in disinfection, quarantine steps, fever surveys by door-to-door checks etc. he wanted the Chennai residents to disinfect their own houses even though the corporation is involved in disinfection work.
It is worthy to note here that for disinfecting it is enough to use few drops of Dettol and mix it with few litres of water. This disinfectant solution could then be used to clean all the door knobs, handles, outer gates, TV remotes, keyboards, mobile phones, handles of two wheelers, car steering wheels etc.
This process must be done every day to avoid spreading of Covid-19. Chennai corporation statement highlighted that it was an appeal and wanted total support from the people. Disinfecting our homes and offices are important.
