Presently, 2 India-made vaccines, Covishield and Covaccine are being administered for the citizens throughout India against the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, as regards the Russian vaccine Sputnik-V, payments are charged for this vaccination in private hospitals.
At the same time, it has also been announced that Sputnik-V will be administered freer of cost for the public in all government hospitals.
As per one of the social networking media reports, the news is that Sputnik-V will be the 3rd free vaccine to be administered in India.
The Chairman of the Government Corona Action Committee, N K Arora informed that arrangements are being expedited to administer the public with free Sputnik-V vaccine at the Government Vaccination Centres.
Presently, the quantum of Sputnik-V vaccine received in India is somewhat less! Further, this is available only in private centres. Sputnik-V is administered only after payment is made!
Dr Arora further informed that the central government has initiated actions to increase the quantum, of Sputnik-V received in India and free administration of Sputnik-V will soon be a part of the Free Vaccine Scheme!
