It has been mentioned by the Regional Meteorological Centre or RMC in Chennai that due to the atmospheric low air circulation prevailing over south and south Bay of Bengal Tamil Nadu has been receiving rains. In this situation, there would be rains in TN for the next 7 days. It is now mentioned that 33 districts in TN would receive rains in the next 3 hours.
Various districts in TN that would receive rains are Sivagangai, Dharmapuri, Madurai, Krishnagiri, Thirupathur,Vellore, Ranipet, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Chennai, Chengalpet, Villupuram, Thiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Nellai, Thoothukudi, Tenkasi, Kanniyakumari, Nagai, Salem, Erode, Theni, Tirrupur, Coimbatore and Nilgris etc.
