Special EMU Trains Announced Between Tambaram and Kattangulathur for Pongal Travelers

The Chennai Railway Division will operate special 12-car EMU services between Tambaram and Kattangulathur on January 20 to facilitate the return of passengers from southern Tamil Nadu after Pongal celebrations.
Passenger special trains will depart from Kattangulathur at 4:00 a.m., 4:30 a.m., and 5:00 a.m., reaching Tambaram at 4:35 a.m., 5:05 a.m., and 5:35 a.m., respectively. Similarly, special trains will leave Tambaram at 5:05 a.m. and 5:40 a.m., reaching Kattangulathur at 5:30 a.m. and 6:05 a.m. The trains will stop at Potheri, Guduvancheri, Urappakkam, Vandalur, and Perungalathur. This initiative by Southern Railway ensures a convenient return journey for Pongal travelers.
