Chennai Metrowater open house meeting to be held on Saturday

The monthly Metrowater open house meeting will be held at the civic body`s 15 area offices on Saturday.
The meeting is usually held on the second Saturday of every month.
It will be held between 10am and 1pm at all the Metrowater area offices in Tiruvottiyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Royapuram, Thiru-vi-ka Nagar, Ambattur, Anna Nagar, Teynampet, Kodambakkam, Valasaravakkam, Alandur, Adyar, Perungudi and Sholinganallur.
Consumers can furnish their complaints regarding water supply and sewage removal. They can also clarify their doubts regarding water and sewerage tax and water charges during the meeting.
During the meeting held last month, 42 petitions were received regarding water supply and sewage disposal, out of which 33 petitions were rectified.
