7 IITs jointly introduce 24 kinds of ‘online’ courses!

India’s premier technical education institutes, 7 IITs (Indian Institute of Technology), have jointly introduced 24 courses to be studied online.

It is notable that IIT Chennai is one of them.

Central Government’s Human welfare department has joined with the 7 Indian Institutes of Technology at Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpure, and Roorkee to form NPTEL – National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning.

As per this project, 24 diploma courses on different subjects including computerscience, aerospace, electrical, metallurgical engineering, and Management. Written examinations for admission to these courses are scheduled during September & November.

Registration for these courses can be made online.

Registration is free of cost. Students can decide the courses according to their priority and  join & learn.

Successful candidates will be conferred with a diplomat given jointly by NPTEL & IIT.
