Dip in price of veggies, Thanks to rain showers

Price of fruits and veggies have come down significantly. Thanks to the increase in cultivation and enough supply to the market. A kg of onion is priced Rs 20 now.
As the state of Tamil Nadu is gradually getting back to normalcy, there is a considerable reduction in price of veggies. Most of the water bodies got filled during the recent showers. Koyambedu market receives vegetables and fruits from several states and cities including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kanchipuram, Ottanchathiram, Pazhani, Nilgiries, etc.
About 300 lorries bring loads of veggies and fruits to the market on a daily basis. As the market is now full with more than enough supply of vegetables and fruits, there is a dip in price. Price of carrot, beans, onions, etc have reduced.
