Defense Exhibition in Chennai, Defexpo India 2018

International Exhibition of defense security systems will be held in Chennai this year. The Central Defense Ministry reported the Exhibition will be conducted from April 11 to 14 in the famous East Coast Road of Chennai at Thiruvidanthai near Mamallapuram. State Government has allocated a special area for this exhibition, Defexpo 2018.
The Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the Defense Expo event is happening for the first time in Chennai with the state allocated location enclosed with maximum security control.
Land, Naval and Homeland Security systems will exhibit their defense schemes and technologies in the categories of both domestic and international divisions. More than 80 countries are participating in this defense expo exhibiting their defense systems.
According to the reports of the Defense Minister the Exhibition was conducted in New Delhi till 2016 and then last year in Goa. Now for the first time it will be conducted here in Chennai directly influenced by Nirmala Sitharaman, the Central Defense Minister from Tamil Nadu.
Prime Minister will inaugurate the Defexpo 2018 event and then followed by the three defense exhibition of India. More than 800 press entries from regional and national centers will be grouped to report and capture this event.
