Chennai Metro City: New Website launched exclusively for the differently-abled citizens!

This new website will function exclusively for the benefit of the differently-abled citizens/residents of the Chennai District where all the beneficial activities and their details and the required application forms, etc., will be available for download from the site and apply for the same.
The differently-abled citizens can access the various benefit schemes such as educational scholarship for them, bank loans for starting their own industry, the equipment required for the differently-abled, marriage assistance, Maintenance expenses assistance, Protection Certificate, free bus travel concession, the details of the schemes announced by the Differently-abled Welfare Department and the relevant applications and the facility to get the applications filled up and forward the same to the relevant department.
Some of the welfare schemes can be directly applied on this website and some other welfare schemes are to apply to the District Differently-abled Welfare Office.
