The new surprising location for the Tambaram police commissioner office now!!

Till now, the Tambaram police commissioner office has been functioning from Sholinganallur. The news that has come out now is that the police commissioner office has been shifted to Melakottaiyur near Vandalur.
In 2022, the Tambaram police commissionerate was formed is known. It is worthy to note that the TN govt did not find any suitable place in Tambaram and in the Chrompet localities. Hence, the Tambaram police commissioner office operated from Sholinganallur. Truth is that this police commissioner office is being shifted to Melakottaiyur temporarily and the new office would function from Melakottaiyur. This was mentioned in the circular from Mr. C. Sylendra Babu, DGP of TN.
It has been brought out by some sources that the new police commissioner office as well as the Tambaram corporation office would be constructed on the vacant lands near National Institute of Siddha in Tambaram. The construction works would begin shortly.
