Instructions from GCC Commissioner for clearing the Otteri Nalla Canal in Chennai!!

The GCC Commissioner Mr. J. Radhakrishnan has given instructions to the officials regarding clearing Otteri Nalla canal in Chennai before NE monsoon. He has done this on behalf of the Chennai Corporation.
Yesterday, the GCC Commissioner visited Otteri Nalla canal located in the area under 84th ward in Ambattur zone belonging to GCC. He then asked the concerned dept officers to take steps to prevent the mixing of sewage with this canal and to clear the canal before the onset of NE monsoon. He then went to Villivakkams 94th ward to see Otteri Nalla Canal there and instructed the concerned officers to clear the canal before monsoon.
Mr. J. Radhakrishnan then went to Oteeri Nalla canal at 95th ward, Agasthyar Nagar and Thirumangalam Road and advised to strengthen the canal banks. He also ordered the removal of garbage waste that was dumped on the 111th ward on Woods Road belonging to the Teynampet zone.
