Chennai Metro Rail Recruitment is on the go

Chennai metro rail’s first phase will be initiated next year. However, the recruitment for these rails is already started. Sources said that train operators recruitment is almost done. These drivers will be put into a training session initially. The Chennai Metro Rail Limited prefers to send them to the Delhi Metro Rail Limited (DMRC) which is the principal consultant for the Chennai Metro Rail project.
It is to be noted that metro rails in Chennai will have Automatic Train Operation (ATO) and Automatic Train Protection (ATP) systems. Hence, these systems will considerably reduce the workload for the operators.
