Two Lane Road – Police Sealed 3 Entrances of the Skywalk

The Poonamallee highway road and the Nelson Manikam road were changed to the two lane road since yesterday morning. On the continuation, police has sealed the three entrances of Skywalk suddenly without any intimation. Because of the Skywalk Mall, transportation congestion has been high in the prevailing days.
Hence to avoid the congestion, the over bridge was planned before last 2 year to build across the Nelson Manikam Road via the Poonamallee highway and the Anna arch to 3rd Avenue. The fund was allotted for the bridge construction.
The pillar was placed on the backside of the Skywalk and the single pathway was blocked on the backside of the Skywalk. The bus route from Anna Nagar to the Soolaimedu now has to travel from Poonamallee high road and has to take the right turn on the Nelson Manikam road to Soolaimedu.
To clear the congestion, the Police commissioner George has got many complaints. The two lane road was formed since yesterday morning in the Nelson Manikam- Poonamallee road.
The three pathways for Skywalk were also there in the Nelson Manikam Road. Due to the cut in the pathway, the passengers from skywalk have to use single pathway to come out.
