Heavy rains expected in Tamil Nadu

As per the announcement from Chennai Meteorological Centre, there is possibility of receiving heavy rainfall with thunder in most places of Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to one of the officers at the Chennai Meteorological Centre, he said since there is heavy moisture in the winds together with high humidity, there are chances for heavy rainfall with thunder in most places of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Chennai will experience cloudy sky with light showers in the suburban areas.
