Jayalalithaa set to become CM again! Assumption of office on 22nd or 23rd May!

AIADMK General Secretary, Ms. Jayalalithaa, has announced that a meeting of AIADMK MLAs is scheduled on 22nd May.
The meeting will be conducted at AIADMK headquarters at 7.00 AM on Friday, 22nd May.
It is gathered that Jayalalithaa will be elected as the leader of AIADMK MLAs and then will meet the governor to claim approval to form the government.
It is also gathered the current Chief Minister, Mr. O. Panneerselvam, is set to resign his post on 21st May.
The function of assuming CM’s office may be conducted on 22nd or 23rd May.
It is gathered from inner party circles that there are prospects for Jayalalithaa to assume office immediately after the AIADMK MLAs meeting on 22nd May. Only in order to facilitate this possibility, the meeting is scheduled to start early at 7.00 AM.
Once chosen as the leader of the AIADMK MLAs in the assembly, Jayalalithaa can visit the governor to submit the letter to form the government.
As Friday, 22nd May is said to be an auspicious day, the function of assuming office may be conducted at Raj Bhavan on 22nd evening as a simple affair.
Otherwise, it may be on the next day, 23rd May as per the party headquarters circle.
It is gathered from the party bigwigs that some ministers in the present cabinet may be removed and fresh MLAs inducted into the cabinet!
