Mixed response as MTC plans for Wi-Fi at IT Corridors

With lots of developments pertaining to the cyber mania and advancements across the city and in various criteria of transportation including railway stations, Metropolitan Transport Corporation has conducted a survey via the route of AC buses that commutes between CMBT and Siruseri. Initially, the plans are to kick-start the Wi-Fi facility in the AC bus of 570 that covers a wide distance.
Shedding lights on this, an official said that their initial focus would be across the lanes of Rajiv Gandhi Road, where there is plethora of IT firms. In fact, the study of feasibility was surveyed with many passengers travelling through this route and the feedback seems to be mixed. While a side says that it is nice to have this facility as it would offer them more significance to work on smartphones and laptops. On the flip side, other group says that first MTC has to focus on the maintenance of buses properly as the condition of AC is too poor during the working hours.
