Will ATMs have cash to dispense since banks have a five-day break from October 21?

General public including traders and industrialists in the city are looking at the prolonged holidays with anxiety since festivals combined with weekend is going to give banks a five-day break from October 21. Ayudha Puja falls on October 21, followed by Vijaya Dasami and Muharram on the next two days and the weekend. To face the long weekend, banks will ensure that adequate cash is stocked in ATMs in the locality.
People feel that five days is too long a period for ATMs to sustain cash flow. Most of the ATMs are situated in busy areas in the city and will run out within two days.
