There are more than 300 e-seva centre. In these centres you can get handy plastic colour voters identity card. If needed you can also get your beautiful face updated.
E service centres
100 kinds of services are being done by the e-centres in Tamil Nadu. By end of this year 300 more services will be added. One of the important services will be issuing of colour voter identity. Under Arasu cable TV, there are 486 e service centres. On behalf of Arasu Cable, services have begun in some of the places in Chennai.
Plastic voter identity card
The election commission has given the voters details including the photos to the Information Technology department. Voter can approach these centres to get a new colour card by telling their voter ID number. A handy plastic card will be issued. Rs 25 is charged for this service. Those who have lost their voter ID card can also approach the centre and get a fresh card.

There are complaints that the photos of the voters are not clear. There are camera facilities in the e-centres. The photos will be taken in colour and incorporated in the voter identity card. Those who want a different photo can avail the same in these centres.
