Over-bridges at Pallavaram and Vandalur to be opened today!

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, E. Palaniswamy, is inaugurating two new over-bridges in the Chennai Metro City suburban areas of Pallavaram and Vandalur. These bridges were built at a cost of Rs. 138 Crores.
In order to solve the heavy traffic congestions experience in these 2 locations, the former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa laid the foundation for these over-bridges in the year 2016. However, the project completion got delayed due to various issues – the construction is complete just now.
Subsequently, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister will be inaugurating the Vandalur overbridge at 9.30 AM today (Thursday, 17th September) and immediately later, the over-bridge at Pallavaram and dedicate the same to public service!
