Strict action to be taken for conducting public functions by violating lockdown rules in Chennai!!

In those areas that are under GCC or Greater Chennai Corporation, conducting public functions by violating lockdown rules would be dealt with severely. Strict action would be taken against those organisers who conduct the public functions.
It was brought out in the statement that those who take part in marriage functions etc must wear facemasks compulsorily. The owners of the marriage halls must make sure that the seats are arranged with gaps in between especially where food is taken. The public must also be responsible in the control of the Coronavirus pandemic and they must not gather in huge numbers in the common places.
