The Coronavirus vaccination drive has been going at tremendous speed ever since it began a few months back. The news now is that 9.88 crores of vaccination has been administered to the people in Tamil Nadu till now. In the coming weeks, vaccinations administered would touch 10 crores. This was mentioned by the health minister of TN Mr. M. Subramaniam. The health minister wanted the people to come forward to get vaccinated. This would enable the state to have 100% vaccination coverage.
It is learnt that 1.21 crores of the population haven’t yet got the second vaccination dose. He then spoke about how the people must make use of 23rd vaccination drive to get vaccinated. On Saturday, across 50000 sites in Tamil Nadu, 23rd mega vaccination drive would take place for the sake of the public. The superb piece of news is that the number of daily or fresh cases has come down to below 1000 in Tamil Nadu now. It is brought to light that till now 92% of the population have been administered with first vaccination dose and 72percent with both the doses.
At the headquarters hospitals plus at the PHCs and medical college hospitals, vaccination for the Coronavirus infections is being administered every day for the public.
