Many residents, young and old are affected by skin allergies in Chennai now, doctors worried!!

It seems that the health issues of Chennai residents are never ending!!
In Chennai now, many people are affected with skin infections and skin allergies etc and this has made many skin doctors or dermatologists to worry. The reason for the sudden increase in skin allergies is not due to any allergen but due to internal infections due to immune response.
The doctors have confirmed that many from young to old have been affected with the skin based issues now. This was as per Dr. Balakumaran, consultant dermatologist, Dr Bala`s Skin Clinic. He spoke about how these skin allergies were reaction patterns due to severa;l skin triggers. He concluded that seasonal outbreaks and environmental factors etc could trigger these skin issues. It is learnt that patients at the skin clinics complain about various vaccinations for allergies in them.
Information is that vVaccinations might lead to certain skin allergies etc in some persons but they would also save the persons from life threatening diseases etc.
It was brought to light by a skin specialist from one of the general hospitals in Chennai that in the past vaccinations have led to skin allergies. He added that not much proof was available to show that the recombinant RNA vaccine such as Covid vaccine could lead to adverse effects.
According to Dr, V. Anandhan, HOD of the dept of dermatology, SMCH in Chennai, there are several types of allergies and they are not life threatening. With the right treatment, these allergies could be cured well. He hinted that many fungal infection cases are now present due to self medication and home remedies. Point is that the people must consult a skin doctor before they apply skin cream etc on them. He concluded that many patients do not come for a follow up and the organisms would become resistant to the creams etc.
