The city of Chennai has got huge population and people find it difficult to move because of huge traffic. It is now said that to ensure free flow of the traffic near the Crown Plaza hotel on TTK Road, the Chennai based police personnel would remove a signal and some small modifications would be introduced in the new plan soon.

The good news is the vehicles passing through this place don’t have to wait for the signal anymore and that would be superb. It must be noted that vehicles would have to turn left towards TTK Road when they meet at the Crown Plaza hotel junction and those travelling to Mandeveli or Mylapore would have to take road towards St Marys Road present at the right.

Likewise those vehicles on the TTK Road moving towards Nandanam would have to turn to St Mary’s Road and go to Raja Annamalaipuram First Main Road and then they must turn right to Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Devar Salai.

It is known that there is as signal at the junction of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Devar Salai and RA Puram first main road and now vehicles from Greenways road would be able to merge with the road easily and there won’t be the necessity to stop at the signal.
It is worthy to note that till the year 2011 only one-way traffic was seen in this road and in 2011 signal was created to make way for two-way traffic.

Mr. Arun who is the additional commissioner of police, traffic shared few things. He spoke about how the module was planned for the purpose of smooth traffic flow without the presence of the signal. Mr. Arun further added that from Friday onwards trial run would be conducted. He finally said that feedbacks from the public regarding the traffic changes would be taken into consideration.
