Established in the year 1854 in Chennai city, Taj Connemara is a 5 star hotel. It is also the oldest hotel in Chennai city and for many years this hotel has been attracting many visitors. This hotel got its name from Lord Connemara who was the governor of Madras in 1854. The latest news is this Taj Connemara hotel is operational once again. It must not be forgotten that for a period of one year this famous hotel in Chennai was under extensive renovation and redesign.

Hotels original features would be showcased by the sensitive preservation of Art Deco facade. There are wooden carvings got from 16th and 17th century Mahabalipuram temples and these wooden carvings would surely attract the attention of the visitors. The presence of 4.5 acres of landscape greens and enclosed atrium gardens is simply superb and it would make many guests happy.
