Southern Railway Announces Changes in Special Train Coaches
Southern Railway has revised the coach composition of special express trains connecting Tambaram, Coimbatore, and Kollam starting from December 20, 2024.
1. Tambaram-Coimbatore Special Train (Train No. 06184):
From December 20, this train will include:
- 2 AC two-tier coaches
- 4 AC three-tier coaches
- 2 AC three-tier economy coaches
- 10 sleeper class coaches
- 1 luggage-cum-brake van
- 1 second-class coach (Divyangjan Friendly).
2. Coimbatore-Tambaram Special Train (Train No. 06185):
From December 22, this train will have the same composition as Train No. 06184.
3. Chennai Central-Kollam Special Train (Train No. 06113):
From December 21, this train will feature:
- 1 AC two-tier coach
- 5 AC three-tier coaches
- 8 sleeper class coaches
- 1 luggage-cum-brake van
- 1 second-class coach (Divyangjan Friendly).
4. Kollam-Chennai Central Special Train (Train No. 06114):
From December 22, this train will follow the same configuration as Train No. 06113.
