the Reliance Foundation spearheaded the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 cleanliness drive, mobilizing a considerable workforce of 1,400 employees and their families from the Tamil Nadu State Office. This initiative underscored a collective commitment to environmental stewardship and community service, as volunteers participated across 90 different locations, including state offices, distribution centers, area offices, and Jio Centers.
With over 1,700 employees from the Tamil Nadu State Office and across all Jio centres joined hands at around 90 locations, formed into teams each consisting of six to ten members and started the cleaning activity from 7.30 am to 10.30 am today, including local parks, children`s play areas, and key transportation hubs, railway stations in Tamil Nadu including cleaning of the vast Marina Beach at Chennai.
The Swachta Hi Seva 2024 drive not only contributed to the beautification of public spaces but also instilled a sense of responsibility among participants and the larger community. By participating in this collective effort, the Reliance Foundation highlighted the importance of environmental sustainability and civic duty, thereby setting a commendable precedent for future community initiatives.
