New reservation office at Perambur Railway Station starts functioning

Starting from March 3, a new booking reservation office has been opened on the Jamaliya side of Perambur Railway Station in Chennai. The office was constructed based on the long felt demand from passengers residing in the Perambur area, according to a statement issued by Southern Railway.
Initially, one reservation counter and one unreserved counter will function at the new office. Meanwhile, the existing booking office counters on the North side of Perambur Railway Station will also continue to operate with one reservation counter and two unreserved counters.
The opening of the new reservation office is expected to bring convenience to passengers in the area by providing more booking options.
