Southern Railway Announces Express Train Service Changes (August 1-14)

Due to Tambaram remodelling works, Southern Railway is implementing several changes to express train services from August 1-14:
Cancelled Trains:
• Train 20691 Tambaram–Nagercoil Antyodaya Superfast Express (leaving Tambaram at 11 pm)
• Train 20692 Nagercoil–Tambaram Antyodaya Superfast Express (leaving Nagercoil at 3:50 pm)
Altered Services:
• Train 12635 Egmore–Madurai Vaigai Express will start from Chengalpattu at 2:48 pm.
• Train 12636 Madurai–Egmore Vaigai Express will be short-terminated at Chengalpattu (August 8-10).
• Train 12653 Egmore–Tiruchchirappalli Rockfort Express will start from Chengalpattu at 12:40 am.
• Train 20683 Tambaram–Sengottai Express will start from Villupuram at 11:15 am.
• Train 20684 Sengottai–Tambaram Express will be short-terminated at Villupuram.
• Train 16159 Egmore–Mangaluru Central Express will start from Tiruchchirappalli at 4:40 am.
• Train 16160 Mangaluru Central–Egmore Express will be short-terminated at Tiruchchirappalli.
• Train 22658 Nagercoil–Tambaram Superfast Express will be short-terminated at Egmore.
• Train 22657 Tambaram–Nagercoil Superfast Express will start from Chennai Egmore at 7 pm (August 4-14).
• Train 15630 Silghat Town–Tambaram Nagaon Express (August 2 and 9) will be short-terminated at Egmore.
• Train 15629 Tambaram–Silghat Town Nagaon Express (August 5 and 12) will start from Egmore at 7:15 pm.
• Train 22841 Santragachi Jn–Tambaram Antyodaya Express (August 5 and 12) will be short-terminated at Chennai Beach.
• Train 22842 Tambaram–Santragachi Antyodaya Express (August 7 and 14) will start from Egmore.
• Train 15930 New Tinsukia–Tambaram Weekly Express (August 5 and 12) will be short-terminated at Egmore.
• Train 20482 Tiruchchirappalli–Bhagat Ki Koti Humsafar Weekly Express (August 3 and 10) will skip stoppage at Egmore.
• Train 11017 Lokmanyatilak–Karaikal Weekly Express (August 3 and 10) will be diverted via Tiruttani, Melpakkam Cabin, and Chengalalpattu.
• Train 22613 Rameswaram–Ayodhya Cantt Shraddha Sethu Superfast Express (August 4 and 11) will skip stoppage at Egmore.
• Train 22632 Bikaner–Madurai Superfast Weekly Express (August 4 and 11) will be diverted, skipping stoppages at Egmore and Tambaram.
• Train 22403 Puducherry–New Delhi Weekly Express (August 7 and 14) will be diverted, skipping stoppage at Egmore.
• Train 17651 Puducherry–Kacheguda Express (August 8-10) will skip stoppages at Tambaram, Egmore, and Arakkonam.
• Train 17643 Chengalpattu–Kakinada Port Circar Express (August 8) will skip stoppages at Tambaram and Egmore.
