AICTE Sets September 15 Start Date for First-Year Engineering Classes!

AICTE has announced that first-year engineering classes should commence by September 15. Member Secretary Rajeev Kumar sent a circular detailing the academic timetable for 2024-25. Universities must renew recognition for technical colleges by July 31, and direct second-year admissions should also be completed by September 15.
Students canceling admissions by September 11 will receive a full tuition refund. Additionally, first-year classes for Masters in Management and certificate courses should start by September 11. Institutions must adhere to UGC guidelines for open and e-learning courses.
