National Aptitude Test on 19th October!

The National Council for Education, Research and Training (NCERT) has announced that the National Aptitude Test will be conducted on 19th October.
1000 best students from the country’s schools will be selected on national basis and will be awarded scholarships for higher education.
The Aptitude Tests are conducted to select these 1000 students.
National Aptitude Test, conducted by NCERT, has 2 stages. 1st stage will be on State level. The 2nd stage will be on national level.
As per this, the 2nd stage tests on national level for 2013-14 were scheduled to be conducted on 11th May at Chennai and other cities. However, the tests were cancelled following the ban order from Court.
Now, the same tests will be conducted on 19th October in the centres already announced.
The students who succeed in this test will be awarded monthly scholarship of Rs. 1250/- when they study till +2. When they study graduation/post-graduation, they will be paid a monthly scholarship of Rs. 2000/- per month.
