A child was born on this day of 1965 to Mir Taj Mohammed and Lateef Fatima at Talwar Nursing Home in Delhi. Who could have guessed the child would become just badshah of Indian Films but would rule the hearts Indian cine goers. His first appearances were in a tele serial ‘Fauji’. The serial was not only a big hit; SRK as Abhimanyu became a heart throb by the serial was ending. Again that was a great role that really launched SRK, straight into a big league .As the serial progressed and Abhimanyu character because of the actor grew in popularity the producer Colonel Rajkapoor started to give prominence to the role. Farhan Akhtar film Lakshya one of the first movies of SRK had lots of rub off of Fauji. Since then there has been no looking back for the King Khan. Everything else fades into history.

He did his High school from St Columbus High School in New Delhi .He was a brilliant student in the school. His interest were electronics and biology but was not interested that much in mathematics.
He captained his school teams in football, hockey, and played cricket as well.
He graduated from Hansraj College, Delhi University and followed it up with a Masters Degree in Mass Communications (Film making) from Jamiya Miliya Islamiya, in Delhi, but quit it in a year.
He is a wonderful husband to his wife Gauri Chibba and great .father to his children- Aryan and Suhana.
The Man has terrific sense of Humour.
His initial friends were Aziz Mirza and Vivek Vaswani.
His mother first gifted him a Maruti Omni.He now has six imported cars including the red Pajero which he first bought apart from BMWs, Audi and a Mercedes.
Top it all, he has been voted the sexiest man in Asia by the Jade magazine.
