TAMILNADU IS A PREFERRED DESTINATION FOR MANUFACTURING INDUSTIRES

Rajeev Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries Department, said that Tamilnadu is a place most preferred by manufacturing industries and that Tamil is emerging as the most urbanized in India. Tamilnadu has very high potential. He was speaking at a function held to inaugurate ‘Insigt-10’ a program orgainsed by Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) in association with Financial Software and Systems (FSS).It is big challenge that Tamilnadu has to sustain the momentum and grow up to its potential. To sustain the present growth rate the nation has to absorb surplus labour force in agriculture sector to manufacturing and services sectors, the country needs skilled manpower, he added.
Fr. P. Christie, director, LIBA, said that affordability, accessibility and adaptability were necessary to succeed. The business school had been rated in the top 10 schools for the second successive year, he said.
