Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week today announced the names of participating designers and sponsors associated with the event at a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Ambassador Pallava earlier tonight. Several leading designers, prominent models, male and female, media honchos, socialites and members of the fashion fraternity participated. The 3-day event will commence with an event on 14th April and conclude on Saturday, the 16th April 2011.
Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week 3 showcases the creations of 13 designers, 4 titled shows with more than 50 male and female models walking the ramp. Besides, a special Galatta anniversary show scheduled for 14th April also promises to feature several young and successful stars of Kollywood.
Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week Season 3 addresses the needs of the established designers and fashion buyers, both domestic and foreign, and enables a platform for the aspiring models to showcase their abilities as well.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mehul Choksi of Gitanjali Lifestyle, exclaimed that Gitanjali Lifestyle were delighted to be associated with Storm Fashion Company for the Chennai International Fashion Week in its Season 3. "Chennai International Fashion Week has been the very first international fashion event in the southern states of India and has grown in stature, with every event. The premier fashion event of South India is the event that Gitanjali Lifestyle would always want to be associated with and we are confident that Season 3 will surpass earlier standards in terms of fashion fraternity participation" he said.
